Hi, I’m Nikki — a Christian wife, homeschool mama, and lover of all things cozy, creative, and Christ-centered. After nine years in the classroom, I traded lesson plans and grading for morning snuggles, read-alouds, and messy art projects at our kitchen table.

Here at The Adorned Homeschool, I share ideas to help you make your home and homeschool a beautiful reflection of God’s goodness — in learning, in family life, and in the quiet, ordinary moments that matter most.

Through encouragement, practical resources, and faith-filled inspiration, I want to help you see that homeschooling and homemaking aren’t just tasks — they’re opportunities to adorn your days with purpose, peace, and joy.

A Little About My Journey

Before homeschooling my kids, I spent nearly a decade teaching everything from kindergarten to third grade. I hold a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and was a National Board Certified Teacher in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy.

Now, my classroom looks a little different — it’s full of picture books, science experiments, cookie crumbs, and lots of grace. I love blending my background in education with our family’s love for Scripture to create printables, lessons, and activities that point little hearts to Jesus.

When I’m not teaching or creating, you’ll probably find me:

  • Decorating allergy-friendly cookies for my bakery business, The Blessed Batch
  • Dreaming up themed parties and faith-based family activities
  • Organizing our homeschool space with beauty and purpose
  • Reading classic children’s books with my kids
  • And drinking Dr. Pepper while writing about life, faith, and home
