Let’s make breakfast together. 🍒✨

Why We Love This Breakfast
There’s something magical about taking something simple—like a premade pie crust—and turning it into a warm, beautiful morning treat.
This recipe is:
- Quick (5 minutes of prep)
- Kid-friendly
- Budget-friendly
- Allergy-friendly (gluten, dairy & egg free!)
- Perfect for holiday mornings, Advent weeks, or slow homeschool days
It’s also a great “helper recipe” for little hands—kids can pour, spread, drizzle, and enjoy the fruit of their work.
Ingredients
Here’s everything you need to make this cozy morning treat:
- 1 premade rolled pie crust
(We use Sweet Loren’s gluten/dairy/egg-free crust) - 1 can cherry pie filling
- Powdered sugar
- Milk of choice (use dairy-free if needed)
- Vanilla or almond extract
That’s it!
How to Make Cherry Breakfast Pizza

1. Roll the crust
Place your premade pie crust on a pizza pan lined with parchment paper.

2. Add the cherries
Spread a generous layer of cherry pie filling over the crust.
3. Bake
Follow the baking directions on your pie crust package.
Your kitchen will smell amazing.

4. Make the glaze
While it bakes, whisk together:
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk
- A splash of vanilla or almond extract
Adjust until it’s smooth and drizzle-able.

5. Drizzle + Enjoy
Remove the crust from the oven and immediately drizzle the glaze over the warm cherries.
Slice, serve, and enjoy the happiest homeschool breakfast.
Make It Allergy Friendly
We’ve adapted this recipe to fit our family’s needs:
- Sweet Loren’s crust → gluten, dairy, and egg free
- Plant-based milk → almond, oat, or coconut
- Standard cherry pie filling is usually dairy-free (always double-check labels)
This makes it a great treat for families with allergies—no swapping complicated ingredients or trying to reinvent the wheel.
